Lighthouse Tales: Intrigue, Drama & Tragedy at the Lighthouses if Jervis Bay, By Bridget Sant.
Lighthouses provide a universal appeal, built on rugged isolated parts of the coast, representing a time when life was harsh. The Jervis Bay area has been served by two lighthouses (Cape St George and Point Perpendicular), although the reason for having two is in itself an incredible tale. This is collection of stories, some tragic, some romantic, some amusing. There are also tales of intrigue and business dealings, especially over the site and construction of Cape St George lighthouse.
Printed 2007. A4 48 pages.
